TREAD DESIGN DESCRIPTION

A universal drive axle tread design developed specifically to optimize mileage costs for medium and longhaul transportation on rough roads. The block pattern has monodirectional grooves with specially angled asymmetric tread blocks to enhance traction and to guarantee smooth and even wear. The tread depth ensures outstanding mileage efficiency.

APPLICATIONS

Drive axles of heavy-duty vehicles (trucks and articulated lorries) subjected to strong torque and braking stress.

USE CONDITIONS

Medium and long hauls on various types of road surfaces and under different climate conditions: intense traffic with frequent acceleration and braking, winding and rough roads or damaged roadbeds by ice or heat.

SIZE RANGE

This design is available on RINGTREAD rings for retreading tyres of series 80 (295 and 315/80-22.5) and series 70 (275-305-315/70-22.5 and 265-285-305/70-19.5).
